V pack seals
V pack seal is a special shape seal commonly used for sealing applications of rotating shafts. It is usually made of elastic material such as rubber or polyurethane. The design of the V-shaped seal enables it to provide reliable sealing performance and adapt to the movement of the rotating shaft.
Main application areas
Rotating shaft seals, compressor seals, automotive engine seals, liquid seals, as detailed below.
Rotating shaft seals: e.g. in pumps, agitators, mixers, etc. It prevents liquids or gases from escaping between the shaft and the equipment, while also withstanding the rotational movement of the shaft.
Compressor seal
It prevents the gas inside the compressor from leaking into the external environment and keeps the compressor running efficiently. V-pack seals are widely used in compressor sealing.
The application of V-shaped seals in compressor sealing mainly involves the following components;
Piston seal
V pack seals can be used as piston rings or piston rod seals to ensure sealing performance between the cylinder and piston and prevent gas leakage.

Compressor shaft seal
The main shaft of the compressor usually needs to be isolated from the external environment and prevent leakage of the compressed medium. V-shaped seals can be used in the design of shaft seals to ensure effective sealing between the shaft and the sealing shell and to adapt to the rotational movement of the shaft.
Valve sealing
The valves in the compressor also need to be sealed to prevent gas leakage. V-shaped seals can be used as sealing elements of valves to ensure normal operation of the valve and prevent gas leakage.
Automotive engine seals
It can often used in camshaft seals, crankshaft seals and other parts of the engine to ensure that the lubricating oil inside the engine will not leak.
Hydraulic seal
V pack seals can also be used in hydraulic systems to prevent hydraulic oil from leaking between the piston rod and the cylinder to ensure the normal operation of the system.
