Oil and Gas Sealing Solutions

The S-Seal is a preferred design that is subject to the erosion of oilfield media and O-rings cannot survive the maintenance-free life cycle of the equipment.

The S-seal is a compact one-piece seal design with two molded anti-extrusion springs and anti-extrusion elastomers on the outer edge. Its unique design integrates two anti-extrusion devices and a sealing element into a single piece to provide bi-directional sealing.

At the same time, combined with a simple symmetrical profile anti-extrusion device, the use of headless helical springs on both sides of the seal allows large extrusion gaps to be bridged under high pressure.

S-seals are an alternative engineered seal design compared to T-seals or O-rings, which utilize metal springs to support the seal across a wide range of extrusion gaps.
