Sealing principle
The rubber sealing ring mainly achieves sealing through its own elastic deformation. When installed at the pipe joint, the sealing ring is squeezed by the pipe connection parts and produces elastic deformation. This deformation makes the sealing ring fit tightly to the inner wall of the pipe and the surface of the connection parts, filling any gaps that may exist.
For example, in a medical oxygen outlet pipeline, when oxygen is delivered under a certain pressure, the sealing ring can effectively prevent oxygen leakage. The pressure difference between the inside and outside of the sealing ring will make it fit more tightly on the sealing surface. The greater the pressure, the better the sealing effect.
