7. Safety and Hygiene Standards: If the seal is in direct contact with drinking water, ensuring that the selected material is non-toxic and meets drinking water hygiene standards may require specific certifications such as NSF/ANSI 61 certification.
8. Special performance requirements: according to the special needs of the application, such as ozone resistance, steam resistance, etc., select rubber materials with corresponding characteristics. For example, hydrogenated nitrile butadiene rubber (HNBR) has a higher resistance to heat, ozone aging, and chemicals than NBR.
