Pump casing gaskets are key components in pump construction. They seal the pump casing and prevent leakage when the pump is running. They are designed to withstand the internal pressure of the pump and provide a reliable seal between the pump casing and other components, such as flanges or pump covers.

Main Functions
- Prevent leakage between pump casing and pump cover: Pump casing gaskets can form a good seal to prevent the medium in the pump from leaking out from the connection between the pump casing and the pump cover.
- Absorb deformation: During the pump body's operation, the pump casing and cover will be slightly deformed due to pressure and temperature changes. Gaskets can properly absorb these deformations and maintain sealing.
- Reduce vibration transmission: Gaskets can partially isolate the vibration between the pump casing and the pump cover, reducing the impact of vibration on sealing.
- Electrical insulation: Some pump gaskets are made of insulating materials, which can also act as electrical insulation.
👉The material is mainly PTFE, which has excellent chemical resistance and high-temperature resistance, and is suitable for use under extreme conditions, such as pump seals in strong acid, strong alkali, or high-temperature environments.
