Damper system AEM rubber sealing gasket

Rubber AEM (ethylene acrylic rubber) gaskets are widely used in a variety of industrial and mechanical equipment, including damper systems.

The following are the characteristics of rubber AEM gaskets:

Oil resistance: Rubber AEM is oil resistant and can maintain excellent sealing performance when exposed to petroleum, lubricating oil, and other lubricating media to prevent leakage and contamination.

Chemical resistance: Rubber AEM gaskets have good resistance to a variety of chemicals and solvents, providing reliable sealing performance in a variety of chemical environments.

High-temperature resistance: Rubber AEM gaskets can maintain good elasticity and sealing performance in high-temperature environments, and are suitable for shock absorber systems that need to work under high-temperature conditions.

Application

The function of the damper system AEM rubber sealing gasket is to ensure the sealing performance of the damper system, prevent the leakage of liquid or gas, and maintain the normal operation of the damper.

Specifically, rubber AEM gaskets are commonly used in accessories for the following damper systems:

1. Damper cylinder
The damper cylinder is one of the main components of the damper system. Rubber AEM sealing gaskets are usually used in the sealing position of the damper cylinder to ensure that the damper works without leakage.

2. Piston rod
The piston rod in the damper system is also one of the application locations for rubber AEM gaskets. It provides a seal between the piston rod and the cylinder to prevent leakage of liquid or gas.

3. Damping fluid fittings and lines
Liquid joints and pipes in the damper system also require the use of rubber AEM gaskets to ensure sealing performance at the connections.

It should be noted that the specific design and composition of the damper system may vary with different types of dampers, so there may be certain changes in the application location of the rubber AEM gasket.

More details of AEM Rubber Materials not tolerate Description

Here are some common media that AEM gaskets may not tolerate:

  • Highly concentrated organic solvents

AEM gaskets may swell, soften, or dissolve in environments with high concentrations of organic solvents. Especially polar solvents such as ketones, esters, aromatic hydrocarbons, etc., need to be used with caution.

  • Strong acids and bases

AEM gaskets may be intolerant to strong acids (such as sulfuric acid, and hydrochloric acid) and strong bases (such as sodium hydroxide, and potassium hydroxide) with higher concentrations, and are prone to swelling, softening, or failure.

  • Oxidizing agent

AEM gaskets may be intolerant to some strong oxidants such as hydrogen peroxide and high concentrations of chlorine, which may easily cause oxidation, aging, or failure.

  • High-temperature water vapor

AEM gaskets may expand, soften, or fail in high-temperature water vapor environments, especially under high-temperature and pressure conditions.
