PTFE step seal with NBR/FKM O-ring is a seal used for hydraulic cylinder piston rod sealing, usually composed of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) sealing ring and rubber O-ring (NBR or FKM).

Sealing Ring: filled PTFE

O-Ring: NBR / FKM

PTFE Sealing Ring: PTFE has excellent chemical stability and high-temperature resistance, and can adapt to a variety of media and high-temperature environments.

NBR/FKM O-Ring: NBR (nitrile rubber) and FKM (fluororubber) are commonly used elastomer materials. NBR has good oil resistance and wear resistance, while FKM has excellent high-temperature resistance and chemical corrosion resistance. The O-ring acts as a preload element to provide sufficient sealing force to compensate for the sealing performance of the PTFE ring.

Application and properties

1. Hydraulic equipment: suitable for control cylinders, servo-assisted equipment, machine tools, fast-acting cylinders, etc.

2. Automobile industry: such as the sealing of shock absorbers and other components.

3. Engineering machinery: such as forklifts, injection molding machines, agricultural machinery loading platforms, etc.

4. Standard cylinders: suitable for the sealing of various standard cylinders.

Applicable to high and low-speed reciprocating motion and high-pressure system cylinder rod sealing. Good dimensional stability, not affected by temperature, low friction, strong corrosion resistance, could work in the situation with or without lubrication, easy installation. Meet the standards of GB/T 15242.1-94 and GB/T 15242.3-94.
