FFKM Rubber D-Ring
D-rings are an alternative to O-rings. D-rings have the same sealing properties as O-rings, but the flat bottom ensures better stability in the groove, which eliminates the risk of screw failure.

How do FFKM rubber D-rings work?
A D-ring is an elastic component that is placed between two components and then squeezed to fill the gap between the two components. When the ring is compressed, it is forced to "flow" within the groove toward the gap.
The D-ring has a flat surface to prevent twisting during movement. After installation, the ring is slightly compressed to seal at low pressure.
