Aviation AEM Rubber Seals

Aviation AEM rubber seals are special seals used in the aviation industry. They are made of AEM (ethylene acrylate rubber) material, a synthetic elastomer known for its excellent high temperature resistance, weather resistance and resistance to aviation oil (such as jet fuels, hydraulic fluids and lubricants).

AEM thermal aging performance AEM can be used continuously for 18 months at 120℃ and 6 weeks at 170℃. The heat aging performance of AEM is much better than that of chlorofluorocarbon polyethylene rubber (CSM) and NBR.

AEM rubber resists the effects of ozone, UV radiation and weathering, making it suitable for aerospace applications involving outdoor exposure.

AEM has better cold resistance than ACM and can be used at -40℃. If appropriate plasticizer is added, it can remain soft at lower temperatures.
