Sealing principle

The sealing principle of the Viton X-ring is mainly based on its excellent elasticity and compressibility. In the sealing system, the X-ring is installed in the high-pressure fluid medium. Due to its good elasticity and compressibility, it can closely fit on the sealing surface, thus effectively preventing leakage and penetration of the fluid medium.

Specifically, the X-ring deforms under pressure, and its shape changes with pressure while maintaining a tight fit against the sealing surface. This sealing method is called "form seal" or "compression seal", which can effectively prevent leakage and penetration of fluid media.
