PEEK valve seal

PEEK sealing rings have good performance, and stable dimensions, and can be customized in size, high-temperature resistance, wear resistance, and strong mechanical properties. High temperature-resistant PEEK has a high glass transition temperature and melting point (334°C), which is one of the reasons why it can be used reliably in applications requiring heat resistance. Its load thermal deformation temperature is as high as 316°C, and its continuous use temperature is 260°C. PEEK has comprehensive properties unmatched by other general-purpose plastics among high-performance polymers and is suitable for various harsh environments.

It has been successfully widely used in demanding occasions in various industries such as aerospace, automobiles, electronic semiconductors, and electromechanical. It is a material for users to develop new products and improve product service life and reliability.

Several common FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) about PEEK valve seals:

Q1: What media are PEEK valve seals suitable for?
A1: PEEK valve seals are suitable for a variety of media, including acids, alkalis, solvents, and corrosive media. It has excellent chemical stability and is resistant to many common industrial media.

Q2: What is the maximum operating temperature of PEEK valve seals?
A2: The maximum operating temperature of PEEK valve seals can usually reach over 260°C (500°F). It has excellent high-temperature resistance and is suitable for working environments requiring high-temperature sealing.

Q3: Does the PEEK valve sealing ring fit closely with the metal valve?
A3: PEEK valve seals can closely match metal valves. Its compression deformation ability enables it to adapt to the irregular shape of the valve sealing surface and achieve a tight sealing connection.

Q4: What is the service life of PEEK valve seals?
A4: PEEK valve seals have a long service life. Due to its excellent wear resistance and low friction characteristics, it can withstand frequent friction and wear, extending the service life of the seal ring.

Q5: Do PEEK valve seals require lubricant?
A5: Generally, PEEK valve seals do not require additional lubricant. PEEK material itself has good self-lubricating properties, which can reduce friction and wear and ensure a sealing effect.
