NBR rubber (nitrile rubber) is a synthetic rubber material with excellent performance, widely used in seals in industrial fields such as valves, pumps, and pipe fittings. The chemical name for nitrile materials is butadiene acrylonitrile; however, there are other names commonly used to refer to nitrile, including NBR, Buna-N, and Buna.
Properties: NBR can withstand continuous media temperatures of 90°C and intermittent temperatures of up to 120°C.
Features: Fairly high resistance to aging effects caused by heat and wear, but susceptible to aging effects caused by sunlight and UV rays.
