Structure and working principle
It is usually composed of a static ring (also called a fixed ring) and a moving ring (also called a rotating ring). The static ring is installed on the pump body, while the moving ring is installed on the pump shaft and rotates as the pump shaft rotates.
A certain contact pressure is formed between the static ring and the moving ring, and the sealing effect is achieved through this contact. Sealants or sealing pairs, such as rubber O-rings, fillers, etc., are usually used on the sealing contact surface to improve sealing performance.
Through the friction between the static ring and the moving ring and the filling of sealant, the pool pump shaft seal can effectively prevent liquid leakage and maintain the isolation of the medium.
