Introduction
An oil tank gasket is a gasket used for oil tank sealing. It mainly plays the role of preventing oil leakage and isolating the inside and outside of the oil tank.
In addition, it has good elasticity and sealing properties and is suitable for fuel tanks of different shapes.
Classification
1. Classification according to material: oil tank gaskets can be divided into metal gaskets, rubber gaskets, PTFE gaskets, etc. Metal gaskets have good high-temperature resistance and corrosion resistance, but are susceptible to stress corrosion and electrochemical corrosion; rubber gaskets have good elasticity and sealing properties, but are prone to aging after long-term use; PTFE gaskets Have excellent chemical stability and high-temperature resistance, and is suitable for sealing a variety of corrosive media.
2. Classification according to shape: it can be divided into flat gaskets, U-shaped gaskets, O-rings, etc. Flat gaskets are mainly used for flat sealing, U-shaped gaskets are mainly used for sealing pipe joints, and O-rings are mainly used for dynamic sealing.
3. Classification according to use: Fuel tank gaskets can be divided into fuel system gaskets, lubrication system gaskets, hydraulic system gaskets, etc. Fuel system gaskets are mainly used for sealing fuel pipelines and fuel tanks, lubrication system gaskets are mainly used for sealing lubricating oil pipelines and lubrication points, and hydraulic system gaskets are mainly used for sealing hydraulic oil pipelines and hydraulic components.

Sealing principle
1. Filling the gap: When the oil tank gasket is placed between two connecting surfaces, the gasket material will be subjected to pressure, elastically deformed, and fill the tiny gap between the connecting surfaces.
2. Form a sealing layer: The elasticity and sealing properties of the gasket material enable it to form a sealing layer while filling the gap, preventing liquid or gas from leaking from between the connecting surfaces.
3. Maintain sealing performance: Once the sealing layer is formed, the elasticity and recovery properties of the gasket material can maintain the stability and durability of the sealing layer, ensuring that the sealing performance of the fuel tank will not decrease over time.
