Seal Design

Multi-contact design: Subsea ball valve rubber seals adopt a single-piece design, which significantly improves the sealing integrity and leak tightness, especially in high-pressure applications. It provides higher contact force through multiple sealing hardware interfaces, thereby enhancing the sealing effect.

Bidirectional sealing: In some cases, bidirectional sealing can be used to cope with the situation where the external pressure is equivalent to or higher than the internal medium pressure.

Operational Performance

Low friction and long life: Designs such as graphite-filled PTFE stem seals can reduce operating torque and extend cycle life.

Water and sludge intrusion: Additional O-rings are designed to prevent seawater from entering the valve interior, thereby protecting valve operation from being affected.

Applicable Conditions

Pressure resistance: Subsea ball valve rubber seals can withstand internal pressures up to 20,000 psi (1379 bar), suitable for deepwater applications, ensuring safe and reliable operation in extreme environments.

Temperature range: Depending on the O-ring material, the operating temperature range can range from -29°C to 260°C, adapting to a variety of operating environments.
